A couple of weeks ago I was invited to an intimate presentation at the Kent & Curwen showroom. First, all guests arrived at the Madison Ave store for beverages and conservation. Later we were escorted to the showroom to hear & see more about the upcoming FW14 collection.

  • The Kent and Curwen brand is most known for their luxury knits and preppy persona.  They have been around since 1926.
  • We got a sneak peek for FW14. Kent and Curwen went for a edgier look especially in the outerwear selection. Jackets are trendier and the designs are bolder (like the one shown in the photo) and are paired with suits. All looks remind me of trendy gent in walking around in Florence, very simple but detailed (take a look at the yellow jacket, very simple but detailed).
  • In addition to the collection Kent and Curwen has also introduced bags and accessories made from nappa leather. So as you can imagine the products are very soft. Some were made from saffiano leather which is a great treatment if you want something more durable and can clean easier. All accessories are made in Italy.
  • The Splice symbol is Kent and Curwens DNA. On every single product you can see how the splice was used.

Take a closer look at the brand here. What do you think about this collection?
