Friday 5: Grooming Products That Actually Work For Me & What They Do

**hover over numbers 1-5 for more info on a product**

1. Spiking Glue – Paul Mitchell

Actually just started using this after trying to find maximum hold and high shine pomade. This product is something I will definitely keep around for a long time. Since my hair is more curly this hardwired glue makes sure my hair is always stiff but still flexible at the same time. Another great part..its not sticky! You can buy this (here) $17

2. After Shave Balm – Baxter Of California

The calm after the storm? Shaving is not my favorite thing to do in the morning, especially if my skin is already irritated. Everyone says there skin is sensitive but really sensitive. Usually the after shave balms Ive tried have made my skin completely red. You know I’m a big fan of Baxter already but Ive recently discovered this. It has aloe and tea tree oil in it so that explains how soothing it feels on your skin. You can buy this (here) $20

3. Deep Stain Eraser Fluoride Toothpaste – Luster

This is a SOLID drug store pick up. This tooth paste does exactly what it says it will do “deep stain eraser”. It also promises to remove up to 95% of surface stains in 5 days. For a product so affordable (less than $10)  you almost cant believe it but its true and a necessity. Ive seen a huge difference from this drug store pick up and plan on buying more after this runs out. The mint flavor is pretty strong and is guaranteed to get rid of your morning breath. Also fights against cavities. You can buy this (here) $6

 4.Wet & Dry Electric Shaver – Braun Series 3-340s

This is the closet shave without taking my skin off. Braun says they use the worlds #1 foil brand..which I don’t know what that it is but it really gives a close shave. The trimmer is great for stubble but nothing longer than that, my facial hair was a little longer than normal stubble and it didn’t get close at all. Make sure you have a good trimmer in addition to this if you let your facial hair get grow longer than stubble. This saves time in the morning because I can shave in the shower and not worry about destroying the razor. You can buy this (here) $70

5. Razor Bump Blaster Pads – Completely Bare

Wipe one of these pads on your neck and where ever you’ve shaved and you’re all set. I use this faithfully and received it back in November. The product is specifically for ingrown hairs and because my hair facial hair naturally grows thicker its way easier for me to get bumps after shaving. Its packed with glycolic acid and salicylic acid which both help with bumps and cleaning the skin. For best results it says to use it 2 times a day, I only use it once and hardly get any razor bumps anymore. You can buy this (here) $10
