Off To A Fresh Start With Nubian Heritage (In Honolulu, Hawaii)
A proper grooming routine is the freshest way to start off the morning. I wanted to share what I've been using in my grooming routine this Summer (tried to keep it light).
Keeping it as simple as possible means a stress-free morning routine. Sometimes I wake up to try products with about 5 or 6 steps. Right now I use African Black body wash and African Black Soap as a face wash from Nubian Heritage. With collections that include ingredients like Black Seed Oil, Buriti Oil, Haitian Vetiver, Tamanu Oil, Mango Butter, Raw Shea Butter etc I also use the body wash as shampoo. Instead of using 7-8 products for my skin needs, I'm using 3. Whatever your skin needs make sure to use mildly scented products and natural if possible.
The Good Stuff
We have a grooming routine to promote good skin not only to clean, these product ingredients have MANY MANY benefits.
Abyssinian - The products are also formulated with superfoods, including Chia Seeds, which are one of the richest botanical sources of Omega-3 fatty acids for optimal skin nourishment. Amaranth Extract provides deep nourishment, and Ginseng, used in traditional Chinese medicine, is packed with vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals to aid in improving the natural renewal process for smoother, revitalized skin.
African Black Soap - addresses a myriad of skin concerns without synthetic ingredients. Naturally black in color and used for centuries throughout Africa, this “all-in-one” product is revered for clearing blemishes, diminishing dark spots, exfoliating skin and soothing symptoms associated with eczema, psoriasis and dandruff.
Raw Shea - The products are formulated with certified organic Raw Shea Butter, which is highly effective for relieving symptoms associated with eczema due to its rich composition of emollients, fatty acids such as cinnamic acid, anti-oxidant vitamin E, and anti-inflammatory agent vitamin A.
Most recently Nubian Heritage designed stylish packaging to go along with their brands DNA. I personally have a love for ethnic prints and patterns. The Gift Sets are a great way to go if you want to experience it all. Travel size products start at $3 and go up to $80 (gift sets).
